Prof Dr. M M Shariful Karim

Prof Dr M M Shariful Karim is professor (Grade-1) of the Department of English. He has been serving in this department since 2007. He is the founding Chairman of the department. He is a man from Cumilla. He did his BA Hons and MA in English Literature from the University of Chittagong. Prof Shariful got his PhD degree in English Literary Studies from International Islamic University, Malaysia. Before joining Comilla University, he joined the BCS Education Cadre in 1999. He has more than 25 years of teaching experience in Undergrad and postgraduate levels. He has supervised a number of MA theses and is currently supervising 4 MPhil students from various other universities. He has also taught at level 3 in a renowned Malaysian University. He has around 10 years of administrative experience that includes Governance, Policy Roles, Formation of Rules and Regulations, and academic issues. He has also been a Syndicate Member and Dean. Academic Advisor and Curriculum Expert of this and other Universities.
